Lisa Ryan

I liked that the relationship happened a few years after their first meeting. So it wasn't fresh 18 year old and an older man. But I liked this book, I like most of Lisa Ryan's books I've read so far!

I WILL KILL TO GET XANDER!! I didn't like his gold digger wife, but I connected to Lela and I am jealous of her inheriting a home in Hawaii. I hated Xander at first with how he treated Lela who was the Welcome Wagon!

This was so good, I think this is my first book of hers so I can't wait to get others!
You really don't see what the hell is going on until it happens, it follows a long relationship where he doesn't know. But I really enjoyed this, the characters were great, so much was happening, so much emotions to process.

Great book for teen girls and twenty-somethings (though the references and some suggestions are more geared towards teens). Excellent, in depth study of Esther. Very Biblically based with real-life examples and suggestions.

Highly recommended. I used it for a teen group study and they all loved it! Even girls who hate reading enjoyed this book.
