Started learning Hungarian as a hobby during the summer of 2007, which led to my Hungarian workmate inviting me to join him when he returned to Budapest for a fortnight that same year.

I referred to this phrasebook intermittently before and during my stint in Hungary. The book's design and phonetic guide are superb.

I didn't really feel compelled to continue learning this language following my trip to Budapest, mainly because I was simultaneously learning Polish, but I still own the Hungarian show more phrasebook and can remember the basics. show less
