I didn't realize I could review movies here and just came across this. I love watching movies and I watched this a couple of months ago.

This is beautifully shot, lavish sets, the choreography in some scenes is very funny, one of my favourites is where Emma (Anya Taylor-Joy) and Knightley (Johnny Flynn) walking through (I guess) a drawing room as they are disagreeing and in the background is Mr Woodhouse (Bill Nighy) surrounded by several fire screens to keep out that draft. This is just one show more of the many scenes where there is a also going on in the background as well as the foreground.

I thought the opening to mid had more energy than as the movie wound-up, but this was really fun to watch and I thought captured Jane Austen’s novel well. show less

Interesting selection of photographs, but the book is marred by its lack of captions or a register supplying basic information such as date and place each photograph was taken, an absence especially conspicuous as the photographer describes her work as documentary in nature. The interviews printed at the beginning were of special interest as the subject and photographer discuss photography.
