Zeal of zebras by WOOP Studios
This distinctive book introduces an alphabet of collective nouns with gorgeous art prints. Each spread has a collective noun “A pandemonium of parrots” accompanied by a small illustration and a few short paragraphs on the animal “In the Amazon, groups of parrots can be found at “salt licks,” naturally occurring deposits of salts and minerals that they eat to supplement their diets./What a pandemonium it is with all their screeching!” The facing page show more has a gorgeous art print incorporating the noun and alphabet letter into the art work and illustrating it in a fanciful way – for example, a troubling of goldfish shows a floating school of fish swirling about above their bowl.
Verdict: I was disappointed that no source information was given on where the collective nouns came from, but this is a fun alphabet book with marvelous illustrations that children and adults will enjoy.

The Case of Beasts: Explore the Film Wizardry of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Mark Salisbury
Easily the best of the three companion books Harper Collins published. The amount of insight and detail in the behind the scenes looks at different aspects were incredible. This one, unlike the other, really focused on the production aspects - what each department did and why and how. Plus the graphic art and prop facsimiles and recreations were rad.
This was a fun book to pore over and gain a little bit of knowledge behind how some of our favorite collective nouns came about. Honestly, I'm not going to remember the majority of them. But this book would make a great conversation starter...especially when I regale friends with a groan of puns!
The Case of Beasts: Explore the Film Wizardry of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Mark Salisbury
I'm so in love with this book! It's fascinating to learn how they created the world of Fantastic Beasts and get to know the amazing casts/characters. I enjoyed looking at the vivid pictures and illustrations that make this magical world come to life. My absolute favorites are the pull-out memorabilia tucked within its pages, this book is definitely a must-have for Harry Potter/Fantastic Beasts fans.
