Well since I picked this up for free I’m not going to complain that this isn’t quite what I expected from the title. Unless you are already familiar with this author, it would be a good idea to use the Show More link on the product description. Don’t expect a yellow or chocolate cake in this book. These are all cake recipes that have either vegetables or fruit in them, although yes, there are a couple of chocolate cake recipes with zucchini in found in here.

I’m not much of an eater show more of things from the garden, but I do have to admit some of these recipes have grabbed my interest and I can see this would be a great way to hide some good stuff in the treats you give your family.

But as someone who rarely bakes with many fruits and veggies and the extra work required getting them in to the appropriate form before adding them to the batter, “Easy Cake Recipes For Busy Women” isn’t quite fitting my impression of something easy and quick. show less
