I love this little book. Goodrick has a respect for the layreader and the Bible that is refreshing. He concludes each short chapter with a list for further reading (noting which books are more detailed than others, without making assumption about the abilities of his readers). Would be appropriate for a high school student or others who are new to the vocabulary of the doctrine of inspiration.
A remarkable piece of Biblical scholarship, offering a complete index of every word in the NIV translation of the Bible, along with a numbered index of the original Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek, allowing you to see the various ways in which a given word is translated.

For anyone engaged in serious study using the NIV translation, as a main or parallel text, this is the best concordance you will find. Exhaustive and easy-to-use, this book will enable you to dig deeper into God's Word and discover show more more of the truths contained within. show less
If you like the NIV and study from it, this is a must. It lists every word in the NIV text, save for the definite and indefinite articles. There is also an excellent dictionary in the back. Words are easily found with a numbering systems, which is also cross-referenced with Strong's numbering system. Greek works are given in Greek and English transliterations. There is no need to be a Greek scholar to use this resource.
