Ballades and Rondeaus, Chants Royal, Sestinas, Villanelles, etc. (The Canterbury Poets) by Gleeson White
Easilty one of the best collections of examples of poems in the French fixed forms in English. The content is occasionally weaker than the style, but they are valuable examples for anyone intending to write in these forms.
Very useful set of examples of poems in the French fixed forms written in English. Valuable for those wishing to write in these forms in English, though the sentiments are sometimes trite.
Nice illustrations, but the text is pretty boring.
Take your pick - `My books - a ragged lot they are' by T.J.Chapman, `I have a goodly library' by F.B. Doveton and `Thou are old, my paperknife, old and dented' by R.J.Walker, and lots more.
