I love historical fiction! It is experiencing history from the perspective of someone living in that time and fighting for their beliefs.

Coffins for Traitors is the story of Andrew who is a staunch royalist doing his bit for Queen Anne and the Protestant Church. He does not support the Scottish Pretender. Lieutenant Woodruff is the reluctant red coat who at first doesn't understand the passion Andrew has for the cause.

To him the Scottish Pretender is the true king. Major Keith Windham is the reluctant red coat who starts as Ewan's enemy but starts to feel sympathy to Ewan's cause.

The books are opposites and twins because they are told from vying perspectives. It's brilliant. show less
