Loved this book (if you can use the word "love" ob such a gory mess). A different take on the zombie/undead genre..and set in Australia, which makes a change. See - Australian scientists really could take over the world LOL. Tankbread is created to satisfy the need to feed of the zombies and make them leave the still live humans alone.. sort of works (/snicker). Can't really say much more without being a spoiler.. If you like this genre READ it! you will love it too. Some great characters show more scattered throughout too. show less
so far just getting started but it looks like we will have an adventure with a delightfully non-traditional perspective - the author has taken the time to build a world not quite like our own - and to flesh out the specific consequences of those differences.
AWESOME book!!!
I thought the story line was great especially as it is definitely not your normal flesh eating horror book. It's great how its written in a way you connected with the characters easily and really feel like your there with them, as well as things moving along at a good pace that ensures you don't have to skim read to get to the good parts. :)

I can not wait for the next book to come out so I can see what happens next!
The zombie action and the fast pace of the book was great. Up until the 75% point in the book, I would have rated this a solid 4. Despite some depraved scenes, a lot of contrivances, and a lot of unanswered questions. But the final part of the book was totally disappointing. I was not happy with the resolution of the story at all.
