A nice field guide to the southern tablelands flora. Though I missed some of the detail that I would like to have seen. For example, it doesn't even mention that the Wahlenbegia gloriosa is the national flower of the ACT. And I'm still wondering if I can eat wild raspberries. So a few moree details like that would not have gone astray in a field guide. I also thought that they were a bit sparing with the detailed photos. Usually one has a distant photo of the whole tree or shrub but then the show more detailed photos of the individual flowers or leaves are lacking and this makes identification difficult. Though the quality of the photos and colour reproduction are very good. I liked the fact that they included a lot of the introduced species because these are what one also encounters when you are rambling through the woodlands.....it's no longer just natives. Overall, I liked the book and will pack it next time I'm travelling in that area. Five stars from me. show less
