Have you ever taken the time to appreciate how many celebrations and festivals in the bible proclaim the glory of our Beloved? "Meeting Jesus at the Feasts: Israel's Festivals and the Gospels" does a tremendous job of walking the reader through the beautiful portrayals of Christ throughout the Bible. Sittema looks at the Sabbath, Passover, Firstfruits, Pentecost, Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, Feast of Tabernacles, and the Tear of Jubilee. He details the feasts historical initation and show more development up until the coming of Christ, at which point, he explains how Christ has always been the focus.

I can honestly say that every chapter filled me with great excitement, appreciation, and anticipation as I realized the perfection and precision of God's plan. Every chapter felt like a roller coaster as you weave through the history and clime up to the apex of its meaning and enjoy the thrill of the fast ride down as suddenly everything makes sense and has a perfect connection! Even as I write this, I can't help but grin. I never truly appreciated the unity of Christ and the feasts until now. Thank you John Sittema for you excellent service to the body of Christ. show less
