A quick but enjoyable story. I can’t count the number of books I have read with similar story lines, but every time I find myself enjoying every minute of it. This story had a slightly different twist to it. Charli McKenna runs a business called, “Almost a Wife”. They do for people all the little things a wife would do for the family, clean, plan parties, go to dry-cleaners, shop, etc.. Max Taylor wants a full-time “almost a wife” to come work for him and he wants the best, so he show more wants Charli to be at his “beck and call”. Then he wants her to agree to be his wife in public places. Finally he wants her to really marry him. But to Charli it is all business to Max and she doesn't see his love for her, as she has fallen in love with him. We all know how this will end don’t we? But it sure is fun watching it all happen to these two people. Go ahead, sit back and enjoy yourself this Christmas season and have fun with Max and Charli. show less
