The premise is good. It shows the effect of sexual abuse on a person's sexuality as an adult. The more that I mull over this book in the back of my mind, the more I realize that it actually a good book. It shows that compassion and patience and love can overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles. And I think for most of the reading population it doesn't harm that the scenes are very hot.

quick fun read, original idea, so didn't expect this type of ending but loved it!

I loved meeting Jewel and Johnny in this book.
When I started reading I didn’t think that the book would go the way that it did. It surprised me in a good way. Johnny and Jewel clicked. They started a relationship of sorts without knowing each others’ pasts.
This was a wonderful erotic read. I enjoyed getting to see the story unfold and watch how the author show more helped each character with their pasts. You have some spiteful people that will try to come between them. This is things that happen in real life. That’s what made me like the story even more.
Some things that Johnny does is different and a little dark. If you get past that and find out what has happened in his life you will understand. So take a chance and read this book. show less
