Sagan Sagan

Sweet and charming continuation of the story from [Old-Fashioned Cupcake]. The e-version started with several lovely watercolor illustrations of the characters.

It's unusual to find manga that deals with mature adults rather than highschool or college students, because adults have angst, too! There's plenty of it here, but there's also a dose of realism that makes this slice-of-life romance better than average.

A sweet slice-of-life romance (with adults instead of high school or college age people) with a lot of reality in in. The art isn't slick, but it has its own charm and certainly conveys emotions. The characters are well developed -- special for a manga that is relatively short -- and their internal lives make the story interesting. I will be diving into the second book soon.

I honestly thought that the author was Carl Sagan.
