About My Library
In fiction, I love fantasy, especially historical fantasy, as well as some queer romance, space opera, historical mystery, etc. I also enjoy some classics, especially classic children's literature. In non-fiction, I read books on nature, science, poetry, mythology, spirituality, crafts, gardening, and probably a few other topics too.

Some explanation of my ratings (mostly as a reminder to myself):
- 5 stars: books that I really, really love
- 4 or 4 1/2 stars: good books that I like a lot
- 3 or 3 1/2 stars: a decent book but one that I don't personally enjoy; a book that is obviously not great literature but that I am fond of nonetheless; some combination of the above possibilities; a catch-all rating for books that I'm not sure of
- 2 or 2 1/2 stars: a book that I didn't care for and that is not that great, but that still might have some value for someone, somewhere
- 1 or 1 1/2 stars: not a good book, probably not worth reading
- 1/2 star: truly abysmal (I don't think I've ever used this rating, which is probably a good thing.)
About Me
Bibliophile, introvert, cat wrangler, house plant gardener, tree whisperer, and aspiring writer living in a small town in British Columbia, Canada. Obsessed with making lists (mainly of books I want to read). Fond of semicolons and parentheses. I read an alarming number of books (often 200+) in a year.
