Bloomsbury Guide to Women's Literature by Claire Buck

This is mainly a reference book. There are some esssays at the front which are broadly based on location and sometimes also timeframe. It does cover the world, so these are necessarily quick sketches rather than comprehensive. The majority of the book is an alphabetical reference section including female writers, books, and other relevant entries.
