Delightful picture book. The art is simple but lovely and the story is cute with a healthy dose of cheek.

Not going to lie, I would probably not read this to an impressionable toddler. :) As an adult, though, I love it.

Matilda and Hans is a book about two cats that are the complete opposite. Matilda is the sweet and innocent cat that does everything right in the beginning of the story. Hans on the other hand does everything that he’s not suppose to do. After Hans was wanted for letting animals out of the zoo, Matilda agreed to tell the police where Hans would be. She was dishonest and switched places with Hans and started to be a naughty cat.

This book is about two cats name Matilda and Hans. In the beginning, he two cats are said to be very different. Matilda is very sweet and Hans is naughty. One day Hans let all of the animals out of the zoo and was wanted afterwards. Matilda told exactly where they could find Hans for a reward. I really thought she was being truthful!! Although, there was a huge surprise when Hans ran off.
