This was a fun way to look at art and history. The kids loved how parts of each picture were magnified and detailed. I love that each painting is from medieval times therefore we see medieval times the way that the artists of that day did and not from a more modern point of view. Although we have been studying medieval times for many weeks we all still learned something new reading this book. One of the better books out there for this historical period.
