Walt Disney had very interesting taste in literature. His version of this tale sent me into hysterics when I was a child and I viewed it at the drive-in theater where we also saw Flesh Gordon and a movie called 'House of Whipcord.'
The story of Alice is a horror story. It is a nightmare that a girl has that is presented as a lark by the talented elocutionist Lewis Carrol.

The story is great and I loved it since I was young but growing up and reading it again make me fully understand it more, it also brought great memories to me as I remember reading it when I was young.
Seeing a rabbit run across a meadow is not so surprising. But when that rabbit is wearing clothes and talking outloud, Alice has to follow hhim and find out where he's from.
