Lotta Jansdotter's Simple Sewing for Baby: 24 Easy Projects for Newborns to Toddlers by Lotta Jansdotter
I wish I could give this one 5 stars, it is just fantastic! The reason I can't quite give it a perfect score is because her instructions at times are confusing or not quite right. The projects are really amazing! I want to make just about everything in this book. I checked it out from the library and after renewing it about a million times and being refused by the library to keep it any longer, I decided to buy my own copy. I found that getting a big piece of packing paper and tracking the show more patterns onto the paper made the perfect template that I could cut up and use without destroying the originals. I highly recommend this book, although it may not be written for extreme beginners. show less
Good variety of patterns for the home, clothes, bed linen, etc. Really useful practical stuff, not silly knick-knacks. Well explained and illustrated. My edition has spiral binding which makes it easy to keep open while you sew. Inspirational!

I want to make every single thing in this book but I only managed to make the pot holders. Simple, funky and cute patterns. The patterns are written clearly enough so even a newbie like me can understand.
This is a wonderful beginner's book about printing in a variety of techniques and surfaces. The book is well-organized and the photography is inspirational.
