Front and back covers off hinges. No spine. Title page out of binding. Signature: San Francisco Sept 7 1928 Received as a gift from Mrs. Nevius (spelling?), James W. Ward." Additional Signature: "The interleaved additions in this book were made by Mrs. Nevius for Dr. Jas. Lilienthal of San Francisco, son of Dr. Sam'l Lilienthal, friend of my early days.
