The Tao of Equus: A Woman's Journey of Healing and Transformation through the Way of the Horse by Linda Kohanov
This was a fairly interesting read about the relationship between and the mystery of healing and transformation with horses and humans, particularly women. The author uses examples from her therapeutic riding experience on how horses mirror our emotions and can help us heal as we can help them heal from a traumatic past. The author doesn't just delve into the individual pasts of equines and people, but also steps into the ancient collective past through dreams and visions. It's a good read show more for anyone who bonds with horses as I think that humans and horse have a shared history that is worth delving into. show less
