During a blizzard, two children lose track of their puppy in the snow and have to find it.
The plot, while simple, is helped along by the use of wordplay. The story is also carried by the illustrations, which allow readers to interact with the book by trying to find the puppy.

This is a book about a little girl and a little boy and their dog named Snowflake. They lose their dog in a snowstorm, and everyone they ask says something about how there are so many snowflakes that they won't be able to find just one. They later find their dog and everyone in the neighborhood understands that Snowflake is their dog, not just a snowflake. I would read this book in my class because it is a cute seasonal book. It is appropriate for grades K-4.
Snowflake, the pet dog, is missing during a blizzard.....the fun is finding "Snowflake" in the blizzard. Friends try to help!
