B. Kristin McMichael’s The Witchling Apprentice is an amazing start to the Skinwalkers Witchling Series. I just loved this book. The story takes place after the last book in the Day Human Trilogy. Cassandra Booth is back in her village after secretly helping the Sidhe. She decides to take the test to become a Witches Apprentice early. She discovers that the entire town has been keeping secrets from her, and that she is part of a prophecy. The Witchling Apprentice is a contemporary fantasy show more suitable for young adults.

I love Cassie. She is destined to be a powerful witch. As she got older and her powers began to manifest, she never felt like she truly fit in. She only has a couple of friends, Whitney and Owen. Cassie’s parents died. She has been raised by her uncle John. Her aunt Maria is in trouble for taking Cassie out of the village; luckily, they didn’t know they were in the Fae Realm or her punishment would have been worse. Maria has been sent away on missions outside of their village and not around to help Cassie with all the fallout after her test. As Cassie discovers the things that have been withheld from her, it becomes harder to know who she can trust. Cassie is a great character. She is smart, brave, and clever.

I enjoyed Nathaniel Bay’s character. He was friends with Cassie as a child. He became part of the popular crowd and no longer seemed interested in her until she took her test. It takes a while to figure out his allegiances. He is a powerful character that is to be reckoned with.

B. Kristin McMichael does a fantastic job with every aspect of this book. The plot was amazing. It was full of mystery and twist. The conflict is intense and believable. The characters are well-developed. The setting is descriptive. The book was exciting from being to end. I feel like it has been awhile since I have had a book hangover from not getting enough sleep because I could not put The Witchling Apprentice down. It was well worth the lack of sleep. I cannot wait until the next book.

I love love LOVE this book!

The content is original, the writing style is awesome and easy to understand.

I fell in love with Leila straight away because she is kick-ass and humorous.
I hated King Nalick at first because I was looking at Leila's point of view. But as her point of view changed towards Nalick, I started to like Nalick's character.

I love how the author is able to bring me and my imagination to this beautiful ride called, To Stand Beside Her.

Leila is one of best strong female show more characters I've ever seen because the author presented her as someone with a specific skill set.

Not only that, the other characters were also perfectly woven into the story.

To Stand Beside Her promises an engaging read, filled with the ups and downs of human life, loyalty, love and death.

Sincerely,
Selina. :D

Day human, Devin Alexander, is magically bound to night human, Vanessa McKinny. In order to break the bond that was put into place to save Devin’s life, they need to travel to the Sidhe village, where day humans are not welcome.

I loved this story. It felt refreshing and original. I happily lost sleep by staying up late to read this book.

When I started reading The Day Human Prince, I didn’t realize this was a spin-off from The Blue Eyes Trilogy. I have not read that series and had no show more problem following and enjoying this book. What was mentioned, like Devin’s relationship with Arianna Grace, the main character from The Blue Eyes Trilogy, sparked my interest in reading that series.

Devin is a likeable hero. His life is at a crossroad, and he grows throughout this novel. He is a noble character that I enjoyed reading about.

The Day Human Prince had many unexpected twists. The story is well-written and easy to follow. It was full of creative imagery that added greatly to the story.

This is one series I definitely want to continue.

Okay! WOW! This novel is amazing!! I'm surprised at just how much I enjoyed reading this novel!

The Legend of the Blue Eyes is the first novel in the trilogy and let me tell you, its worth a read! B. Kristin McMichael has a new and original take on Vampires and the Vampire World. Divided into clans the Vampires or rather "night humans" are at war and Arianna(main character) is the only hope of uniting them. Arianna is an captivating character, she's sweet, kind, and strong. Of all the show more characters in this book, I really liked Devin! He was tough, deep and complicated. He's a fierce warrior who has his own secrets and duties to Arianna and the world of the night humans.

The Legend of the Blue Eyes has a great story-line and the characters are so lovable, fun and in a sense made the book come alive. Overall, it's a captivating story with romance and danger, and I really think this novel will develop into something great, I cannot wait to see what happens in the next novel! I highly recommend it!
