Michael Y Oh, Lausanne's current Executive Director, writes in his Afterword of the Movement's two-fold aspiration, namely to share wisdom which is biblical strategic, and timely, and to produce and share teaching of enduring worth, and global and eternal impact. Christ gave gifts to his Church to show more share, and the Lausanne Movement has been memorably described as 'an exchange of gifts', that is, gifts from the church on one continent to the church on another, and gifts from the global church to the local church, and to individual Christians. In that spirit, this volume includes the Kenyan liturgy for the Cape Town 2010 Closing Communion service. show less
