Victor Walkley

I picked this title up on impulse in a used bookshop, thinking that it's a slim thing, it might be useful as a jumping-off point for deeper reading on some of the subjects presented. Unfortunately, the total lack of bibliography and citation actually makes it next to useless in this regard. Couple that with the fact that it's quite a shallow, general survey filled with occasionally broken facts (woad, anyone?), and you've got a recipe for disappointment.
