- Thomas B. Warren was an influential preacher, teacher, author, and debater in the Churches of Christ during the second half of the 20th century. His academic career included the presidency of Fort Worth Christian College, chairmanship of the Bible department at Freed-Hardeman University, and a professorship in philosophy of religion and apologetics at Harding Graduate School of Religion. He was the founding editor of Spiritual Sword, editing the magazine from its beginning in 1969 through 1989. He is especially remembered for his debate with Dr. Antony Flew on the existence of God, held at the University of North Texas in September 1976.
