This story unfortunately hits really close to home for me. I was a "victim" of molestation by a family "friend" for seven years of my life. And like our main character, Lizzie, my mother just wouldn't listen either.

Child abuse is a very real epidemic in the world, which sexual abuse being the second leading cause of children developing mental disorders such as PTSD and Clinical Depression at very young ages (My own daughter was diagnosed with PTSD due to abuse from her father at the age of show more 4). It's only second to physical abuse. It is imperative that parents listen to their children. 9 out 10 ignored cries of sexual abuse are NOT lies. Don't let your child become a statistic.

I don't know who the actual victim of Ms. Von's story is, I can only assume it's someone very close to her; if not herself. But I, for one, applaud her bravery in writing this, even if the names were changed to prevent unwanted backlash.

This story is powerful and anyone that's been a victim of this crime is going to fear the fear and the uncertainty right along with Lizzie. So the reader must prepare themselves for that.

There was a single error that I found in this work. a period misplaced, it may hiccup the reading flow just a bit, but it's the only one I found worth mentioning.

The only problem I had with the story was how quickly Lizzie recovered from her trauma. It normally takes years (and quite a bit of therapy) for a child to recover from something like that and not be afraid of every male that looks in her direction. That fear never fully goes away.

This book should definitely be in every parenting class, and every parent should read it.

I give this book 5 of 5 paws.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive about reading this book, since erotica is not one of my "go to" book choices normally; but knowing the brilliance of this author's other works, I figured I HAD to give it a shot and WOW am I glad I did!!!
The story has 3 main characters. A couple Ryan & Tempest (man & woman) who are in a deep, loving relationship with each other and they reside together as best friends with Ryan's step-brother show more Aiden. They are all very close and love each other very much. Tempest and Ryan would probably do anything to please each other. Tempest decides that she's going to surprise Ryan with an intimate, sexual, role playing fantasy and he is more than willing to make his woman happy. She plans this all with the help of her best friend. She prepares everything for an evening of pirate debauchery, all while Ryan & Aiden are out together. They both arrive home to the scene Tempest has set. But what none are truly aware of, is that there are "feelings" between the three for each other that are not your traditional relationship standards, so nobody really addresses the issue. They just continue to reside together very happily. Well when the boys come home to the scene Tempest has set, all caution is thrown to the wind-very gently, actually naturally and they end up having an amazing fantasy night together as a threesome.
Now, what happens when feelings between each other are stirred and more deep rooted than any of them realizes about the other.
What is to happen after this night? Well the men wake snuggled together, but no Tempest. Now they're unsure of what was a mind blowing, incredible experience may have ruined the relationships between all of them. They set out to find Tempest to sort out the situation and see what has happened; if Tempest & Ryan are still feeling the same for each other, are the brothers going to be able to go on together after what has happened between all three?
I don't give up spoilers in my reviews (as much as I'd LOVE to for this one, but I won't hehehe) Well, I'm not going to tell you what happens, but all I can say is this is SO MUCH MORE than just a sex, erotica, menage story. There is TRUE love between the three and the author displays that fabulously, in much detail. Can a relationship work between three people amicably or will this be a disaster that never should have happened and there is much regret? You're going to have to grab the book and find out for yourself!!
I highly suggest that if you're on the fence about reading this book, as I was, give it a try, you will not be disappointed. I had so many emotions run through me while reading this book, I was astounded. I truly did not think it was going to be the incredible masterpiece of writing that it is.
You will fall in love with these characters and the author makes you feel as if you've known them your whole life. She's very precise in her writing and descriptions, I just can't say enough good things about this book!!! And that is the honest truth. I laughed, I cried, I was aroused, it was magnificent!
It's a testament to what "true" love is all about. I think anyone who reads this will feel the same and I definitely recommend you give it a read for yourself. I'm sure you will not be disappointed! BRAVO A.R. Von for such an incredible story!!! I'd give it more stars if I could!!

I always enjoy books about mythology and thought having Medusa and Poseidon etc as young lovers was great. Jealousy and hormones don't care who they effect and this story shows how love can either conquer all or consume them. There are a few hot and heavy scenes to make you blush and plenty of back stabbing and tricky to keep you intrigued.
I will admit, I’m not a huge zombie lit fan: the ones that engage me and that I enjoy always have a character that is far different from the stereotypical brain-eater. A. R. Von has created a character in Wunder who is only a ‘small percentage’ of zombie, and is otherwise human in appearance, actions and thoughts.

This is a cleverly crafted introduction to Wunder and the world she lives in, and is an 18 short as the erotic encounter with the man she has crushed on for a while is show more graphic and quite steamy. Imaginative use of food similes provides a giggle:that simple inclusion gives readers a clear description of the physical actions and reactions. As a short, this is a tease, but provides an engaging glimpse into a character that is cleverly snarky and fun to read about. I can only hope that the further planned installments will continue on this path.

I purchased an eBook copy for my own library, I should disclose that I know and work with the author as part of a review team. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.
