Tom Jones (12) (1946–)

Tom, as former Director of Finance and Information in a healthcare organisation, is currently Director of Strategy and Impact at the African Centre for eHealth Excellence (Acfee), editor and writer for its information service, eHealth News Africa (eHNA) and Director of TanJent Consultancy. He manages the content and outputs of Acfee's eHealth Economic Evaluation Database of over 60 eHealth projects in more than 20 countries. He led the development of the Digital Health Impact Framework (DHIF) for the Asian Development Bank (ADB) with AeHIN colleagues and contributions from UNICEF and several South East Asian countries.

His books include Health Service Finance, an Introduction, editions 1 to 4; Investment Appraisal in the National Health Service; Money, Medics and Management, the English and American Systems Compared; Developing an E-Health Strategy; and E-Health in the Commonwealth: Making National E-Health Strategies Work. He has contributed chapters in Integrated Care Pathways: A Practical Approach to Implementation and eHealth Management – From Vision to Reality.
