I think the author described the complex relationship between two sisters very well; of growing up and growing apart, struggling to understand each other while one holds on to the past and another wants to let go--beautifully written.
Written in present tense, this is a tale of two Korean American estranged sisters who meet in Europe to mend their relationship.
Coming-of-age novel in 1960s and 70s postwar Korea, explores mother-daughter relationships of three generations.
