Lame, lame, lame, lame and lame!

This five popup book (over 10 pages) is incredibly amateurish. Ignoring the subject matter (Pinky and the Brain, the Warner Bros. laboratory mice cartoons who always want to take over the world), the engineering is naught but the barest nod to having flat cartoon characters "pop" flatly out. There is no Robert Sabuda like elegance at all in this turkey. The characters basically are extended an inch out of the surface of the book. This would have been fine as a show more premium in a box of cereal.

There' s nothing wrong with the text being written at about a third grade level (intended audience?), but I know third graders who could do more interesting, and more complex paper engineering.

Recommended only for the completist collector, otherwise, don't plan on impressing anyone with this as a gift.

I didn't go to church as a kid and for a long time wasn't really sure what I believed, but this coloring book was one of my all-time favorites. I think because it's easy to understand the basics of the Bible-stories in the book, while also having fun coloring them.

I love the Ugly Duckling story and love reading all the different versions and re-writes of this classic fairy tale.

This one is retold by Dandi. This is just a story of how not to judge a book by it's cover. Don't take everything at face value. And that we should always accept people for who they are and not for how they look.
