First off, the title really grabbed my attention because these three words could make a great introduction to an English/Spelling/Grammar Lesson. For example, I know from looking at the title that “Moose’s” is the name of the main character because there is an -‘s which shows possession. “Loose” is a very difficult word for children (and adults) to spell because there are many variations (ex. Lose, loose, looses, loss, lost). “Tooth” refers to one tooth because the plural of show more tooth is teeth, this is an irregular noun because normally to make a thing plural we add –s or -es. This is unlike the first word moose, where the plural of “moose” does not change. Those are just a few ideas that this book could be used to introduce a lesson. Now onto the story, Moose gets a loose tooth when he walks into a tree. He can not wait patiently to loose his tooth, so he gets the help of all of his animal friends to help him pull out his tooth. When the tooth finally came out it landed in Elephant’s mouth and so Moose put Elephant under his pillow. The tooth fairy gave all of the animals who helped Moose a quarter and wrote Elephant a note with a silver dollar attached, thanking him for guarding Moose’s tooth. The illustrations are hilarious in this book. They do a great job telling the story; so much so, that I think the text really works to compliment the illustrations. Even the tooth fairy’s note is written in the illustration and not in the text. I really enjoyed this funny book and it would be great to read to a young class who is nervous about loosing their first teeth. show less

This was a cute story about a moos who has a loose tooth. He is having trouble getting the tooth out so all his friends try to help him. All his animal pull and pull but they cant get the wibbily wobbly tooth out. Finally elephant comes and pulls and it comes put, but he swallows the tooth. Moose puts elephant under his pillow for the tooth fairy.

I think this story is very cute! I liked it a lot. It talks about friends helping each other out.

I would use this book in a hygiene unit or a show more unit on giving, or friendship. show less

Moose's Loose Tooth is about a fantasy book because it involves many animals and they all are talking. The animals are personified into human expressions and expierences such as loosing their teeth and receiving money from the tooth fairy.
The plot of this story was very interesting and kept the readers attention. The beggining described the problem and throughout the story the problem was being fixed. The resolution was satisfactory when the tooth was pulled out of the mooses mouth. Nothing show more extraordinary happen in the book but it was a great illustration of a beginning, middle and end. show less

A cute story about friends working together to help Moose lose his tooth and learn about the tooth fairy. This was fun to read to my class because they are at an age where they are learning about these things themselves.
