This is a collection of nine interesting Jewish fairy tales with morals built in. Though they are quite enjoyable and easy to read, they might not be appropriate for school due to the constant mentions of religion in the stories. (Class library reviewing)
I had heard versions of a few of these before, but I cannot say any really stood out.
Unlike the other version of this work, which had more fairy tale elements, this collection is a lot more biblical. Religion plays a very key role in this collection, and there's a definite emphasis on being moral. As I remember, I liked the other collection better than this one.
A collection of Jewish Tales recast into a modern world, translated from a variety of Jewish writings
