A thin, worshipful biography of Taylor Swift does not have much insight to offer as it runs through her album releases and tells us how terribly important each one is.
The very cartoony art might not work for everyone, but I sort of liked it by the end.

Having read Volume 1 but not Volume 2, this started out as being a bit confusing for me. This fantasy comic book trade paperback is entertaining and well-constructed. It is the collection of comics from the Grimm Fairy Tales series and engaging enough to want to know what ensues. It reminds me of the early Image comics.
The first one-off chapter centres around Olympus, Zeus, his son, Zagreus, Venus and the Dark Horde.
The second one-off chapter deals with Wonderland, Calie Liddle, her show more daughter, Violet and her own struggle against the Dark Queen.
The third one-off chapter deals with the land of Oz and the Dark Queen recruits Warlord to deal with Dorothy
The common link to all the stories is the Dark Queen recruiting and scheming as she attempts to bring about the Age of Darkness.
The artwork is very good from different artists and I enjoyed the stories and format. I’d recommend this to any comic lover who enjoys Image Comics’ output, including the obligatory scantily-clad ladies.
The nerd in me found some discrepancies: Zeus, Venus and Neptune together when two are Roman and the first is Greek.
Enjoyable enough and I look forward to reading more of the same. show less

Pretty wacky stuff - I've never watched the cartoon - was hoping for a few more laughs but I think kids will be amused by this.
In the convoluted world of the Zenescope Wonderland timeline, this one-shot appears after Clash of Queens, Asylum, and Wonderland ongoing issue 23 (Wonderland vol.5). It is also part of the Age of Darkness crossover event (and can also be found collected in Age of Darkness vol.3). The Dark Queen and the Trickster (last seen in Clash of Queens) visit Calie (last seen in Wonderland issue 22) and Violet (last seen in Wonderland Asylum) and make a few predictions about their upcoming battle, and show more to demand their compliance of course. The Darkness wants Wonderland under the control of one ruler, that she has power over. Hence the Trickster's actions in Clash of Queens. show less
