The book covers three types of elephants, African Bush Elephants, African Forest Elephants, and Asian Elephants. It teaches different characteristics between them, life span, about their babies. There is a lot of good, but basic information in here.

The set up of this fact and trivia book is show more nice. Each page cover a subject and has a beautiful picture to match. So pages have a trivia question, and the answer is given to you at the bottom of the page. At the end of the book, all the questions are listed together, so you can see what you have learned.

My 8 year old loved it. She was fascinated by the pictures, and kept saying," Mom look at this one." She thought the trivia was fun, and loved hearing about the elephants. She loves animals. She did have a complaint. She didn't like that the answers were on the page. She also wanted more.

Children's reference type book with concise information. Informative and interesting. Great series starter. Full color, high quality pictures, but I wish there were more. Trivia included.

If horses are your interest then this book is for you. Full of facts about our equine friends, pleasant and not a chore to dip into.
