Reviews
An enjoyable English mystery with a police officer detective, a rector, a very old family retainer, and old and new money families, among other characters. The library setting for the murder is nicely done, but most of the detection and action takes place outside the library. Particularly good was the depiction of the old housing on the verge of being demolished.
