The best way to describe this book is to do the following: image standing in front of a piece of art work you have never seen before. Get really close and look at how intricately woven the pieces fit, now, touch it. Suddenly, it explodes into the most exhilarating, pulse pounding, breath taking, heart breaking, scandalizing, scary as Hell, no holds barred love that completely shatters and leaves you unnerved for days. That, is this book. It is THAT amazing!
After reading Sketches, I could show more not wait to read Fine Lines. The story is so well written with such depth of emotion, you can't help but feel for them. I love how Bella Roccaforte can write with such depth and intent that you don't need a shovel to dig for understanding. It shows through in how each characters personality is so well defined and vividly clear. From the love-hate-love relationships, the snarky remarks among friends and frenemies, the mysterious psychic friends and spirits not seen. Their attitudes make you see them fully and crave more of them. I can so easily see most of them with books or novellas of their own.
The only issue I had with this book was that I was left furiously looking for the last page. I was so caught off guard by the end, I was sure I was missing pages! Yes, there was an unexpected cliffhanger.
HURRY UP, Book 3!!!! Be prepared for the best book hangover of your life. show less

I've been holding on to this one for a few weeks now, I wasn't sure that I could handle something heavy at the time, and I am really glad that I waited. Shay is a typical girl torn between two loves, Aiden and Eli. To me they both seem like good choices, even though Aiden has a tendency to leave Shay just when things get serious.
Though that isn't the point of this book, Shay is having "dreams" of gruesome murders and while she believes that they are just dreams, reality proves that they are show more really happening and she is a suspect because she is using her dreams to "draw" her comic.
The ending is killing me, because I have been put on a book buying ban and can't get ahold of the next book in the series until next month :( show less

I won this one on a Library Thing giveaway. I am glad that I won this great book. It was an easy read. The main character, Shay is very complex with lots of negative things happening in her life. To deal with it she has her dream lover who comes to her in her dreams. He shows her things, mainly murder scenes. Shay is a cartoonist who then draws the scenes from her dreams into comics. The catch is that they are too close to reality. Shay has several love interests that get to you at times, show more the author does a great job of exhibiting the frustration that Shay has with the "guys". show less

Great Wolf Story
Wow, she was a wolf hunter and he was a wolf and they were friends but it's impossible to be friends when you're a human, and he is a wolf, or is it?
