I found this tale of a young woman who is fascinated by insects and fire to be disturbing. She is manipulative and will stop at nothing, including murder, to get what she wants. It is a dark story, perhaps not for everyone's taste and I would exercise caution with younger readers. The author uses some phraseology that is awkward in English which needs some attention. I thank the author and LibraryThing for a complimentary copy.
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
This was a dark tale about a girl who is obsessed with insects. She will stop at nothing to get what she wants, destroying everything and everyone who gets in the way. This is not for everyone, but the author does a great job telling the story.

I was given a free copy in exchange for an honest review. A very unusual book about a teenage Girl who loved insects. A dark tale. She is obsessed with insects she stops at nothing to get what she wants, she'll destroy everyone and everything that gets in her way. Even if it is her best friend. If you like unusual story i highly recommend you read this book
This book is story of a girl who belonged to the Caste which was considered as "Untouchable" by Indian society due to the menial work of street sweeping they performed. People of this caste faces exploitation at every level due to poverty and illiteracy and any voice raised by them is strangled by people of so called "Upper Caste" of the society. This caste system has prevailed in Indian society for many centuries and is deep rooted in the psyche of a common Indian.
The political system show more considers them a potential "Vote Bank" and does a lot of eye wash to gain their sympathy and vote. Nothing substantial has ever happened. In some metropolitan it has been shelved under carpet but in semi urban and rural areas where majority of Indian live, it is obvious and accepted norm of the society.
A beautiful girl refuses to accept herself as less humane and struggles to rise above condemnation by determination and intellect. Would she overcome the hurdles or she would also submit herself as prey to the web of society. show less
