A great book for fans of braid laces or butterflies! 30 prickings, many with color and stitch variants. Many patterns include supplemental diagrams of the working order or of less-familiar stitches; for those that just have the pricking, there are helpful directional arrows. Bellon draws from multiple lace traditions--Milanese, Schneeberger, Russian--to create a delightful set of small projects. Some are suitable for beginners; most are a little more challenging, and encourage the lacemaker show more to experiment and customize the work.
