Barbapapa's ark by Annette Tison

This is one of those very 70s books that I would have loved when it was new and I was young. Now I see it as lame and preachy.... But then, so many other books for children have been loved by many of them, to their parents' bemusement. Barbapapa's new house by Annette Tison

My favorite picture book as a child. I remember spending lots of time flipping through this book imagining the possibilities of living in Barbapapa's house and world. A rare find in English and as I learned later in life, this series became a children's cartoon.
