A book of great value, although it has become less and less useful to the knowledgeable technician over the past several years. Continuous additions of content in each edition add value and continue to make this a good investment for anyone interested in working on computer hardware.
A very useful book. I tinker a lot with my computers, upgrading, tweeking and such. This book has been an excellent resource about sub-systems, hard drives, partioning, IRQ's and a whole lot more. It uses uncomplicated language and is easy for a novice to use.
