A little girl and her mother always pass the pet shop and the little girl says she wants a pet and her mother's response is always "we'll see." The little girl then does just that. Everything she sees, she imagines is her pet. Some of the objects she pretends to be pets are a napkin and a balloon. Her mother then surprises her with a pet kitten and she becomes very excited.

This book teaches about soultion. This little girl wants a pet so bad but her mom says "We'll see.." so the little girl goes out and finds anything to be her pet. The students would love this book because of how the little girl goes out and finds to be her pet(s)
