In Sandstorm Rising, Daniel Maldonado delivers a compelling and suspenseful mystery that blends the chaos of a natural disaster with the intricacies of a high-stakes investigation. You follow Pamela Williams, a private investigator, whose resilience and sharp instincts are tested after she becomes a key witness to events during a devastating sandstorm.

The story wastes no time pulling readers into the action. The sandstorm, vividly described, creates an atmosphere of disorientation and show more danger. Pamela’s involvement in the twenty-car pile-up is not just a physical challenge but also the inciting incident for the mystery at the heart of the novel. Maldonado skillfully uses Pamela’s injury-induced memory lapses to build suspense, leaving readers eager to piece together the truth.

As Pamela starts looking into the mystery of a suspicious death at the scene, she teams up with attorney Daniel Mendoza, adding depth and dynamic interplay to the investigation. Their professional chemistry and complementary skill sets keep the narrative engaging. The disputes over the multimillion-dollar life insurance payout introduce a web of motives and suspects, from greedy family members to those hiding dark secrets.

This book is great for fans of character-driven mysteries with a touch of legal drama, strong female leads, complex plots, and family drama.

The story is a beautiful courtroom drama murder mystery, first it look like case of negligence on the behalf of resort workers but turn out the mastermind present it like it happens by accident and then story goes flat ,the confession came easy without twist and turn and make the plot flat and seriously after building up pressure, author just give away the ending like a children book readers

This was a thought provoking book. A man talking about his life. The man was saddened by the events that had taken place. Divorce, not getting to see his children. Great narrator.
I’m excited that people are enjoying the second book, The Fleeing Felon. I started writing the third book in the series entitled, The Mendoza Memo. This is the book blurb:

Attorney Daniel Mendoza returns with his trusty private investigator, Pamela Williams. This time he is in London working on a royalty case involving a miracle drug licensed from Arizona.

When a witness mysteriously falls ill during a deposition and later dies, it is only the beginning of bizarre events happening in London, show more Arizona, and other places associated with the lawsuit.

Putting themselves in jeopardy, Daniel and his legal team must solve why strange events keep happening while litigating the case. Are they a coincidence or are they related to the royalty litigation in Arizona?

Thanks again for all your support.
