Oh my gosh this manga was so cute! It was pretty hard to suffer those gaps in between volumes 1 and 14. I just wanted to know what was going to happen next! I the whole manga was really sweet. The characters fit really well together- truly a great cast. It was quite comedic with Karin being a Vampire the GIVES blood while her family are normal vampires, but it had its serious moments as well. The ending as far as them being a couple goes was quite apparent but who it happens and the ending show more was quite an unexpected twist. A very enjoyable read :D show less
Honestly, not really sure whom this is for since more than half of it covers things die-hard fans would already know.
This book was so cute! Karin is a Vampire. But she's not a normal vampire. Unlike her mom, dad, older brother Ren, and little sister Anju, Karin gets up during the day ad goes to school. Also unlike them , Karin doesn't drink human blood. Every month she get an increase in her amount of blood and has to get rid of it so she bites people and injects the with her blood. If she doesn't then she'll get a major bloody nose. By major I'm talking coat the whole classroom red Major. So she bites show more people and goes them her blood which affects the 'victim' in a good way making them happier, have more energy etc.

She's kept this hidden and had a normal school life for years until a new transfer student shows up. Kenta Usui. Her blood reacts and goes crazy around him! Why? You'll just have to read this harious book to find out!

Karin is a vampire - she just isn’t like her other vampire family members. Whereas they drink the blood of humans for nourishment like traditional vampires, Karin has a problem with having too much blood in her body. Her blood constantly increases. It builds up faster the closer she is to a human with the type of blood she is attracted to. If it builds up too much, it gushes out in the form of a horrible nose bleed. Sometimes if someone is around her and the time is right she can bite show more someone and inject the blood into them. Her problem is, she can’t erase the memories of the people she bites. She must rely on her siblings for help.Karin’s life becomes even more difficult when a transfer student arrives at her school. Kenta Usui causes Karin’s blood to increase everytime she is around him. She has trouble just looking at him. What is even worse is the fact that Kenta witnesses Karin biting someone, becomes suspicious of her, and is determined to find out what she is doing.Karin must attempt to control her problem and figure out how to handle her relationship with Kenta. This is an interesting concept for a story and turned out to be pretty cute and I’m glad I gave them a chance (even though I bought the first one because the main character’s name, Karin, is spelled like my first name). I’ve read 5 volumes so far and plan to read the others soon. There are novelizations and an animation series available as well. show less
