Based loosely on movies and books such as [Firestarter], Push, Akira, and Chronicle, the charcters are teenagers with serious emotional problems and enormous psychic powers, pursued by various conspiracies who intend to control and use espers to their own advantage. The 'Dicepunk(tm)' system (2d6 /- modifiers) is easy enough, but the free form style of play (skills other than combat skills are left to player and GM interpretation and invention) might be daunting to novice gamers.
