To be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect when I started to read this since I really do love the original Peter Pan, and this book exceeded my expectations. Well written, it still felt like I was in the same world of Barrie's and I adored it. A great quick read. 4.5 out of 5 stars.

I really loved the shifter aspect - I loved that there were all different types of animals, related to different elements. And dragons are always a plus. I liked the magic system and boarding school stories are always fun. Unfortunately, the characters fell flat for me. I found them to be one-dimensional, and the writing was a stilted, with no natural rhythm or flow.
