An excellent alternate history look at the Battle of Britain. A brilliant female mathematician evolves into a war game analyst supporting the RAF leadership team managing Britain's air defenses. A good cast of characters, real and fictional, is supported by a lively and logical storyline. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
Hitler moves on Russia and Eleanor forecasts his ultimate defeat. Why? Too many horses, really. A very enjoyable team continues to keep this series different and interesting.
This series continues nicely focusing this episode on Malta, a critical battle few Americans know much about. The Eleanor and John team put their analytical skills to work at just the right time and in the right places even as their losses mount.
The pilot moves to Mosquitoes, probably the best twin-engine bomber of WW2. He, and his squadron fight to extinction as they undertake many very difficult and dangerous missions as escorts, deceivers, low-level bombers, and ground attack prototypes for this "Wooden Wonder".
The analyst continues to produce excellent briefs and accurate projections for senior allied strategy and policymakers. Many are ignored for political reasons and the personal agendas of the men in power. This series show more continues to provide valuable insights into the difficulties faced by participants in this all-encompassing world war. show less
