Reedy served as press secretary to President Lyndon B. Johnson. He was later one of my professors when I attended Marquette University's College of Journalism in the late 1970s. Reedy's book offers some intriguing insights into the turbulent Vietnam War era. It also sheds light on White House politics and spin control.
