Street Roots

Very fresh and contemporary reflections on homelessness, love, loss, and life. This compilation is a wonderful effort by Street Roots to promote awareness, but it is also beautiful, angry, sad and just well plain well done. Loved the art work splashed throughout the compilation. I am so happy to have put my money towards this book, as I know the money goes to a great cause, and because the book did not fail to ignite the spark of interest and compassion in me, as only truly great poetry can show more do. So many great poets and artists are featured in this work that it would be too many to list. I dog eared the poems that reached out and gripped me, and the book is now full of dog ears. Read this book, contribute to the cause and be aware. Thank you, Street Roots, for this wonderful addition to poetry. show less
