Iseabail Macleod has many years experience in publishing mainly with Collins and Chambers, later as a freelance editor and as Editorial Director of the Scottish National Dictionary Association (1986-2002). She has an MBE for services to Scottish dictionaries and is an Honorary Fellow of the show more Association for Scottish Literary Studies. J. Derrick Mcclure is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the School of Language and Literature at the University of Aberdeen. He was Chairman of the ASLS Language Committee 1976-91, Chairman of the Forum for Research in the Languages of Scotland and Ulster 1991-2009 and Chairman of the Ministerial Advisory Group on the Scots Language 2009-10; and he has an MBE for services to Scottish culture. show less
